Dr Haleh Vafaei, PHD, MD, BCIA/BCN is the newest member of our clinical team brining with her a solid background from the field of medicine. She earned her MD and PhD in Medicine from the University of Esfahan, Iran, and practiced as a medical Specialist / Ob-Gyn before emigrating to Canada.
In Canada, Dr Vafaei worked in various medical assistant positions including IV Nurse and Physician Assistant before joining the Swingle Clinic team as a Neurotechnician in 2019. She quickly rose to Clinician status with her Clinical Certification in Electroencephalography (BCIA / BCN), 2023. We are delighted to have her as an adjunct to our Clinical Supervisory Team practicing under the supervision of Dr Mari Swingle R. Psych. pending the upcoming conferment of Canadian equivalence of her medical degree(s). With her background in OB-GYN Dr Haleh Vafaei leads our female* incontinence program.
